day 18: Luke 12:37-38;40 Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. 1John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
The day of the Lord, for most Christians as well as Muslims, is the most awaited day of all. On this day all the questions stop, and all mouths will drop, what expression would you have? John told it like this Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. Written in the book of Revelation to reveal to all what's going to come, are you ready.
That glorious day is coming, are we waiting like anxious children, or are we living like that day will never happen. He is coming like a thief in the night an hour you least expect, are you ready? God willing we all are, so in the mean time I will do what Paul did;1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. 1 Corinthians 9:14 Even so hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.
God prepares us everyday for every encounter, and for every option in that encounter, all we have to do is Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. James 1:12-15 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
All basis covered, think before you speak, do to others as you want done unto yourselves, and after you have done all you can to stand, Be still, and know that he is God.
A relationship with heaven is a blessing in itself, imagine being in paradise forever in His presence, I can only smile, and hope....
A treasure worth finding....
Amen.
